It was so cute, when Dave got back to the house after surgery, Malcolm was his shadow. Malcolm stayed by his side, I even had to let him eat dinner with
Dave, in our bed. When Malcolm's bedtime came, he didn't want to leave his dad's side, so he curled up with him on the recliner and exhausted, finally fell asleep.

Surgery went great, everything has been wonderful as far as the healing and getting out of pain.

Dave just can't really do anything other than sit or lay down - so he gets to read to the kids, wrestle on the bed with them, watch "their" shows on TV with them and have me wait on his every need. Positives are that he has temporary handicap parking permits, he gets to ride the electric carts shopping and I've had to miss the past two weeks of church to be with the sick babies he can't take care of on his own (oops! that's not a positive). I will survive this too, but will take a vacation from it all in about 6 weeks!
