I had posted his resume a few times on Facebook, hoping that someone might think his talents and abilities would be perfect for a job they know of or to pass along to someone else. We have had some incredible friends do just that, and we are so appreciative of them. He probably averages 3 interviews a month, but it is definitely an Employers market, with 100+ applicants for some jobs openings out there.
I know he would appreciate all suggestions and referrals. If you feel impressed to pass his information on, please feel free to do that. We both feel very strongly that sometimes our answers to prayer come through others, not directly through us. We appreciate the special fasting and all the prayers that have been expressed on our family's behalf. Those things have made a difference. I know we have been buoyed up and carried through these past months by them and by a loving Heavenly Father.
I don't typically have many followers of my blog, but feel free to pass this post along. Somewhere out there is the perfect job for Dave and an employer looking and needing him.
Dave is down to earth, a hard worker, dedicated and loyal, smart, creative and upbeat. I hope that I haven't overstepped, but my livelihood as a stay-at-home mom is at stake too. I guess I should put in that I had 13 years as a Corporate Travel Agent, the last 5 of those virtual, working from my home office. So, if anyone out there knows of a company looking for a travel agent . . . I can put together a resume too.
Oh, a quick blurb that isn't reflected in the resume information below, he was just elected for a three-year term to The Council for Higher Education Accreditation, CHEA, effective July 1, 2010.
Jobs most interested in, but certainly not limited to: Collections, Governmental Relations, Public Relations, Educational Administration.
