My own Private Beach.
Alright, not really mine. A girl can dream though.
Originally visiting a beach was out of the question for today. Just a little too lobster-red, although not the fire engine-red my dear sister Chelle turned her legs and arms . . . my oh my, if she blogs about it, I'll link it, it was terrible.
Anyway . . . it pays to travel with The Man, The Myth, The Legend, Brennan "B.Ray" Ray. This guy always has a connection to something cool. This time it was a connection to someone living in a Laguna gated community with access to a private beach. So the Ray & Johnson families headed out to the sand & surf.
Too bad I didn't know that my boys had received torturous sand rash the day before. Jesse on the backs of his knees & thighs and Malcolm on the inside of his thighs. Salt water was more than Jesse could stand . . . he was so mad and poo-poo'd doing anything, even exploring around the rocks. Malcolm changed into his softer, cotton shorts and did fine playing in the water. Next time I'm making sure they have time to break in new swimsuits . . . it's just so cold at home, we've only been swimming in our pool one day!
So here are pictures of the rest of our vacation day four . . .
And after all the frolicking in the sand & saltwater, what's more fun than a bath in a huge tub? A BUBBLE BATH in a huge tub! Oh yes, all three kids in massive bubbles . . . love high water pressure & bubble bath!
