I love September. It's Lillie's and my birthday month, football is in full swing, autumn is ushered in and the Utah State Fair takes place. We went to the fair the second day of opening and we had so much fun, the most fun since we've had kids. Dave has Friday's off now, thanks to Governor Huntsman, so we left for the fair as soon as Jesse got off the bus from school - Friday is teacher prep day, so he gets home shortly after 11AM. There was hardly anyone there and the weather was perfect. Lillie and Malcolm enjoyed the stroller ride and loved seeing all the animals and birds. Dave had pre-purchased all-day passes for the midway for him and Jesse - Jesse was thrilled to say the least, he's my adrenaline junkie! We ended up buying single tickets for Malcolm to ride a few rides and would have spent less buying him a pass too - live and learn I guess!
